The pyramid was built for Menkaure (Mycerinus) 2490-2472 BC.  As the smallest pyramid it is 213 feet high.  It was covered in pink granite.  The pyramid was completed by Menkaure's son Shepseskaf.  Menkaure was the successor of Khafre.
