Hatshepsut(1508 - 1458 BC) was the 5th Pharaoh of the 18th Dynasty, the third queen of ancient Egypt and the daughter of Tuthmosis I.  She reigned successfully for 20 years.  The associated pictures are of her Morturary Temple in Deir el-Bahri.  Discovered by Auguste Mariette in the mid-19th century, excavations of the temple were completed in 1896.  Restoration continues to this day.
