Jagdish Temple is situated in the middle of the Udaipur.  The temple of Jagannath Rai, now called Jagdish-ji, is a major monument.  Many streets from the city wall converge on the temple.  It was built by Maharana Jagat Singh I in 1651.  It is an example of Indo - Aryan architecture.  It is highly decorated and the stone carvings are beautifully executed.  Indian stone work is spectacular.
